Hillsdale
is a quiet community located in Bergen Counting and about a 45 minute
drive to Manhattan. It has a population of over 10,000 residents. It is a
quiet residential suburb of single-family homes located between the New
York State border and Interstate 80, just a few miles from the Garden
State Parkway. Daily bus service to Manhattan is available from several
locations in the Hillsdale area. New Jersey Transit Trains are also
nearby.

The Hillsdale Public
Schools system serves all students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
In addition to Hillsdale Public Schools, St. John's Academy, a private
Catholic school serves children in pre-kindergarten through eighth
grade, is located in Hillsdale.
High school students attend
Pascack Valley High School, which serves students from Hillsdale as well
as from neighboring River Vale as part of the Pascack Valley Regional
High School District.
